I can’t for the life of me figure out who originally coined the phrase “Action always beats intention”, but after much Googling I’ve decided I’ll leave it at “unknown” unless someone wants to point me in the right direction.
I can say all the right things, but until I take action on what I say, my words are meaningless. We often call them empty promises.
How many times have you said “the right” things, but never took action and followed through? Think about how your lack of action made others feel around you. How have the words of others made you feel?
Today, make sure you focus on doing things when you say you’re going to do them by taking action. While it’s directed towards what you say to others, it can also apply to your own goals and dreams. How are you going to see your promises fulfilled for others if you won’t fullfil your own?
